A PARTNERSHIP
BETWEEN TWO FILIPINO INSTITUTIONS
WITH ITS SHARED commitment and

As Goldilocks
Philippines Marketing Director Pinky Yee remarked during the press
launch held last August, "Goldilocks and PAL are kindred spirits,
showcasing the best that the Filipino has to offer in their respective
industries. Both have a long and distinguished history, with PAL being
founded in March 1941, and Goldilocks opening its first store in May
1996. More importantly, however, both companies have a deep affinity for
the culture and embodiment of the Pinoy. While PAL portrays "the beauty
of Philippines, shinning through", Goldilocks represents "How
thoughtful, how Pinoy". Most likely, it is due to these similar brand
values that both have become institutions in the Filipino psyche."
This October
2004, Goldilocks will likewise be the most delicious part of PAL
domestic trips, offering savory snacks such as tuna, corned beef and
chicken rolls. Complementing these are mouthwatering cake slices that
include classic favorites like marble and chocolate butter, as well as
vanilla chiffon. New and delightful flavors such as apple and banana nut
also comprise the product line-up. Passengers onboard PAL's
international flights will likewise enjoy tasty bread rolls prepared in
uniquely appetizing ways: barbeque, asado, adobo and tuna melt.
For the past 38
years, Goldilocks has established itself as the undisputed leader in the
Philippine bakeshop industry. Much like Philippine Airlines, it has
succeeded in creating a world-class brand that every Filipino can be
proud of.
